In 2007 the Basque National Orchestra celebrates its 25th anniversary and has become known as one of the best in Spain. Its place in Basque cultural and social life has been solidified by the support of over 7,000 followers. Each year 150,000 spectators enjoy the annual classical music schedule comprised of more than 100 concerts.
The Orchestra has had several international tours while regularly participating in festivals. They also do educational performances for children and have released several CDs, the majority of which are dedicated to familiarize audiences with the symphonies written by prolific Basque composers.
