CEELE: is a Certificate of Quality in the Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language (Certificado de Calidad en la Enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera) granted by the Spanish Department of the University of Alcalá de Henares and the Association of Spanish Economic Resources, which prove the teaching quality in our school.
The schools, which request this qualification are submitted to an inspection that evaluates 11 different aspects of Teaching Spanish as a Second Language.
The inspection is done by the university of Alcalá and is repeated every 2 years. They analyze all the aspects related to teaching, to the faculty, to the installations and award the Certificate only to the centers which fulfil all the strict requirements and expectations. Students, teachers or professionals who select a school, qualified CEELE, for their Spanish Course in Spain, have the guarantee that the selected school has passed an independent, objective and professional inspection.
What is CEELE? CEELE is the Quality Certificate in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language, awarded by the Languages Department of the University of Alcalá and the Spanish Financial Resources Association, working with schools, academies and institutions which provide classes in Spanish as a foreign language.
Why CEELE? There is no approved quality system in Spain similar to those in other countries, as regarding the teaching of languages, which ensure a quality teaching. The CEELE assures fulfilment of internationally accepted quality criteria.
How does a school receive CEELE? Schools or institutions requesting the certificate are inspected by specialists from the University of Alcalá. Eleven different factors are evaluated and the inspection is repeated every two years.
To whom does the CEELE benefit? Each student, teacher or professional choosing a CEELE qualified School or lnstitution is assured that the school has passed an independent, objective and professional quality inspection.
