The Wind Combs of San Sebastian
This art exposition featuring one of Spain's most famous sculptors will be
shown in the Chillida Leku museum of San Sebastian in honour of the VII
International Ontology Congress. Eduardo Chillida is considered the Basque
Country's most accomplished artists and this exposition demonstrates the
artistic path he has taken in search for truth, what is real and can be
considered knowledge. His search, carried out through experimenting with
different materials, not only lead him to his ultimate goal of achieving
knowledge but provoked great works of art in the process. Chillida's philosophy
is that art acquires greater density through a greater concentration of time,
limit, effort and rigour during the creation process.
