The enrolment in Lacunza - Ih - San Sebastian is really easy. You can do it through the Internet from this website, through phone, fax, email or personally at school. You only need to send an enrolment form and pay the 250 € deposit.

You can do it in many ways. Please note that the bank charges will be absorbed by the students.

Last minute enrolments If you book less than 21 days in advance, you must first call to check that there is space available at tha school, and pay for the whole course upon booking.

Bookings will only be valid and binding upon reception of the deposit or the full payment.

• As you get the confirmation, you will have to pay the total amount for the requested services (Course, Accomodation...)

Once you formalized the registration

• Confirmation: We will send you confirmation of your booking, a receipt of deposit, and the details on additional services requested.
• Course payment: Payment of the balance must be made at least 21 days before the course starts. For payments with credit card, we will need a signed fax for the acceptance of the payment.
• Details for the accommodation: We will send you details of your accommodation 10 days before the start of the course. In summer this period can be less. Please let us know where you want this information to be sent to. Remember that you can use the schools address to receive correspondence.
• Keep all receipts in case you have to present them upon arrival.
• Student Card: Bring a passport picture for your student card, and you will benefit of discounts and special attention to our students in a selection of shops and companies.
• Overdue balance: If there is any outstanding money, full payment must be made on the first day of the course.

Annual calendar We offer group courses throughout the year from January 7th to December 19th 2008. Summer period: From June 30th to August 29th 2008. The school is closed on following days 2008: January: 1, 2 March: 21, 24, May: 1, July: 25, 31, August: 15, December: 8, 25, 26. Days lost to holidays are not compensated.

Conditions

  • In order to preserve the high standard of teaching in our school, we insist that our students attend all lessons and do the homework exercises assigned. This enables the group to progress rapidly and at the same pace. Failure to fulfil these requirements may result in the student being placed to a lower level.
  • The school reserves the right to expel students whose behaviour is unacceptable, disruptive or preventing the smooth running of the course. This also applies to the behaviour in the accommodation provided by the school.
  • The minimum age of students we accept to attend our courses is 17, except for the Junior Summer Courses, private lessons and group programs.
  • Course extensions: We will charge a €18 administration fee. If you want to extend the period of stay in your accommodation, you must request it 15 days before the end of your booking.
  • Reduced prices for Long Term, extra weeks and accommodation, apply only when requested and paid in advance. On the other hand, reduced prices will be applied if, for example you start an INT and continue with a MGSI when we start the summer period.

Cancellations Notification of all cancellations should be made written (letter, E-mail, or fax) to Lacunza. Cancelation conditions: 21 days or more before the course: we will refund all fees paid less 60 € 20 or less days before the course: we will refund all fees paid less 100 € (150 € if you have also booked accommodation) On or after the first day: all fees become non-refundable.

Insurance

•  
  • The Social Security is attending to the EU-citizen, provided that you have the European Health Insurrance Card (EHIC).
  • Citizens of other countries have to consult which insurance company of their country is accepted by the Social Security.
  • We recommend to the students that they contract a travel insurance as an insurance for the contingency that they will have to leave the course because of health matters.
  • If you want, the school can assist you by giving information about interesting insurances that cover all from the beginning of the trip. Consult us.

Modifications Should you have to change the dates, the kind of accommodation, or any other part of the course, we can transfer your reservation to another date within the same year. We will, however, apply a forfeit as follows: Up to 1 month prior to the start of the course: No charge 30 - 15 days prior to the start of the course: Forfeit of €30. Less than 15 days prior to the start of the course: Forfeit of €60 plus 1 week's accommodation.

Travel to San Sebastian and Transfer Lacunza-IH can put on a transfer service for individuals or groups from the airports of San Sebastian, Bilbao and Biarritz, or from the train station of Irún or Hendaya. For more information visit San Sebastián - How to arrive.
