In San Sebastian there is a lot of places where you can go out to dance. It doesn´t matter if your a beginner or advanced, old or young. The biggest salsaplace in the city is called Central Park and is localized in the area Amara/Illumbe. The students from the dance schools in the city use to go out there on fridays. On saturdays there is a more latin environment.

In Illumbe they also have latinamerican music on thursdays in the discotheque Ilun.

In the area Renteria (10 minutes by train, taxi or bus) you can visit the bar Touring. It is a small bar with a more relaxed and intimate environment. They play cuban salsa, merengue and bachata on fridays after 22:30 or saturdays after 23:30. During the night there is always a free salsa lesson for those who want to try the cuban salsa. Adress: Alameda, frente a la papelera.

I the city Irun (20 minutes by train, taxi or bus) they play latinamerican music on thursdays. The discoteque is called Saroia and is located close to Plaza de España. A free salsa lesson is held at 22:30 and afterwards they play music with DJ.
