On Friday, January 12th, at 19:30 the awards ceremony for the winners of the XXXIV International Gipuzkoa Trophy as well as the inauguration of the exposition of the competitors will take place at the Photographic Society of Guipúzcoa.

Slides of the nominated photos will be shown during the awards ceremony.

After the prizes have been awarded, the inauguration of the exposition will commence featuring the best monochromatic photographic works. This exposition will be open until January 25th and the 26th a new exposition will open featuring color photos until February 7th.

The GIPUZKOA TROPHY and FIAP gold medal in the monochromatic category has been awarded to GABRIEL BRAU for "NOMADAS"; in the color category, the FIAP gold metal has been awarded to the Russian photographer NATALIA PLANKINA, for her work "NASTIA"; the Dutchman RIET ELEN-DOORDUYN won the FIAP gold medal in the slides category, for "HERMIT MONK"; and in the digital image category the FIAP gold medal was awarded to the german ALEXANDER HOCHHAUS for "LOVE ME TENDER".
