When I moved to San Sebastián a couple of months ago, I had never heard of the " imperfecto del subjuntivo" past tense and I was not able to maintain a conversation with a native speaker. Now I live with local people in a shared apartment where we talk most of the time in Spanish and when I'm in a bar with native people I don´t know I can easily have a chat with them
